Upgrading your Random Access Memory (RAM) is one of the most cost-effective ways to boost your computer's performance. Whether you are dealing with sluggish multitasking, slow video rendering, or gaming lag, increasing your memory capacity allows your system to handle more data simultaneously. Step 1: Check Compatibility and Capacity
Before buying new RAM, you must identify what your motherboard supports. Use a tool like CPU-Z or the Crucial System Scanner to find your current RAM type (e.g., DDR4, DDR5) and speed (MHz). Check your motherboard manual to see the maximum capacity it can handle and how many slots are available.
